By Road

Your route to Sicamous.

From the West (Vancouver, Kamloops, Kelowna)

Take the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) east. Pass through Kamloops and continue toward Salmon Arm. Sicamous is a 25-minute drive past Salmon Arm along the same highway.

From the East (Calgary, Revelstoke)

Take the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) west. From Revelstoke, it's a straight one-hour drive through the mountains along the highway — one of BC's most scenic stretches of road.

From Kelowna & the Okanagan

Head north on Highway 97, then east on the Trans-Canada Highway toward Salmon Arm. The full drive takes roughly 2 hours through vineyard country and along the Shuswap.

How to Reach the Trail

The nearest Rail Trail access is a 5-minute drive from Heritage Hill. Take Old Spallumcheen Road, turn right onto Mara Road West, then take another left on Mara Road West — there's a parking lot right at the trailhead.

Sicamous Ferry Society

Right from the Rail Trail, the Sicamous Ferry Society operates a ferry service to downtown Sicamous. It's a fun and scenic way to explore the town without needing to drive back and forth.

Two lakes, minutes away.

Heritage Hill does not have direct lake access, but both Shuswap Lake and Mara Lake public beaches are a short drive from the property.
